funny.... baker doesn't know what happened... just that the EV caused it because he sees golf cart fires....

I wouldn't want him investigating any fire for me...seems he has psychic powers but falls short on the scientific side.....

EV's are showing a proclivity towards spontaneous combustion. Well, the Volt is really a hybrid, but I digress...

So if they aren't sure what caused the fire how can they designate it as a none crime scene? Seems like they have their mutually exclusive sense of reality screwed up.

This was on the Houston news last night. Fisker is about to receive millions of Federal money, so they're trying to blame the fire on something else. When the News crew flew over the home site in their helicopter; the debris was quickly covered by a tarp. A locked chain link fence surrounds the area.

From the article: "Despite the fact public safety and law enforcement officials have determined Mr. Gutierrez's home and vehicles are not a crime scene, Fisker Automotive released a public statement on May 8, 2012 implying fraud or malicious intent were open questions."

It's okay to keep the investigation "open", but there might be a time when the manufacturer needs to accept some responsibility for potential defects.

LOL Skunk63!!!

And now an offshore manufacture financed to the tune of half a BILLION US dollars by the "green neck" obama, is showing just how much damage, foolish spending and sub-standard products are to even those rich and foolish enough to buy the product!!!

EVs are still a long way to become cost effective; not to mention the various technical hurdles they still have ot overcome.

Another hidden cost of EV's - higher insurance rates, both auto and home.
