Oil Declines for a Second Day After Iran Nuclear Talks

Bloomberg -- Oil fell a second day after the first international talks with Iran on its nuclear program in 15 months produced an agreement to reconvene in May.

Futures declined as much as 0.7 percent in New York after sliding 0.5 percent last week. United Nations Security Council members the U.S., U.K., China, France, and Russia plus Germany will meet Iranian delegates in Baghdad on May 23 following “constructive” talks in Istanbul on April 14, Catherine Ashton, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, said yesterday. Oil has advanced this year on concern that tension with Iran will disrupt global supplies.

“The flavor of those talks did seem a little more positive than the rhetoric of the past,” said David Lennox, an analyst at Fat Prophets in Sydney. “Between $90 and $100 a barrel would appear...

I do not believe anything that comes out of Iran. Their people at some point will have to take control of their own country.

Kind of odd considering if Iran gets nuclear power they will not need to buy refined fuels. How will that help?

The talks are a sham.Iran knows it,the West knows it and,most importantly,Israel knows it.Even Hillary clinton took time out from her hard partying scehule to inform Iran that it was "urgent" that they change course.They won't...so Israel will act.Decisively.
